- Covid-19 Update -

The Cornwall Park Trust Board continues to closely monitor any developments around Covid-19. We are now in Alert Level 1 – please see the New Zealand Government alert level details here.

Cornwall Park remains open to the public for you to enjoy, walk your dog on a lead, ride your bike and spend quality time however vehicle access restrictions are still in place. Our Green Lane West gate is open (7am) for vehicle access to the main body of the park and all eateries. Our Kenneth Myers Drive Gate is open (9:30am weekdays and 7am weekends and public holidays) for parking down to the car park next to the Auckland Archery Club, however all other vehicle gates remain closed. The south side of the park including Twin Oaks Drive will remain closed to vehicles at this time and there is no through road within the park from Greenlane West to Manukau Road and vise versa. A map can be found here.

Huia Lodge and Acacia Cottage are open with contract tracing options available. Our public barbecues are still unavailable until further notice.

Gatherings are now permitted however Cornwall Park has always had a limit of 100 people per gathering. If you wish to gather in Cornwall Park with more than 30 people please complete our application form online

One Tree Hill Domain/Maungakiekie will also be open to cars but access will remain limited and turning points will be in place as there will be no through road to Cornwall Park. Please see map here for park access. In this area please only enter and exit through the Manukau Road entrance. This area is managed by Tūpuna Maunga o Tāmaki Makaurau Authority and Auckland Council should you have any questions. We are coordinating the park access together.
